The Daily News, established in 1887, is published Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays. It serves communities in the Greater Newburyport area of Massachusetts. In addition to Newburyport, The Daily News covers the towns of Amesbury, Merrimac, Salisbury, Georgetown, Rowley, Newbury and West Newbury. The Daily News is part of the North of Boston Media Group.
